According to Odaily Planet Daily, Pantera Capital Management LP said in a statement in May that Telegram is the only major platform that is not restricted by regulation and can incorporate Web3 into an open blockchain network. The company announced its largest investment ever, purchasing TON tokens, but did not disclose the size of the deal. Pantera portfolio manager Cosmo Jiang said that although the early appeal of blockchain was mainly focused on games and decentralized finance, "we will see more use cases for payments and remittances in the future." According to TonStat, TON's daily active user count recently exceeded 350,000.
