According to Wu, Alexander Grieve, head of government relations at Paradigm, revealed on Twitter that SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda issued a statement on the registration rules for index-linked annuities and registered market value-adjusted annuities. In the footnote of the statement, Uyeda called for an update to the S-1 form to better accommodate the uniqueness of cryptocurrencies. This is the first time Uyeda has publicly called for a disclosure system tailored for crypto assets. His views suggest that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission would be a completely different place if a different manager were to be appointed.
