According to TechFlow, the Algorand Foundation announced the launch of a new tool, LiquidAuth, at the Decipher 2024 conference in Barcelona. Positioned as a decentralized WalletConnect, the tool is a decentralized, free-to-use, open-source, and chain-independent authentication tool. LiquidAuth uses established standards and protocols to authenticate peer-to-peer communications between wallets and applications (apps or dApps), aiming to address the communication risks of centralized wallets such as WalletConnect and provide greater security and privacy for user interactions. In addition, LiquidAuth also reduces reliance on third parties when logging in easily via email or social accounts.

Decipher 2024 is the annual conference of the Algorand ecosystem, which will be held in Barcelona from June 26th to 27th. It will build an efficient communication platform for developers of the Algorand ecosystem to explore the future trends of the Algorand ecosystem.
