According to Jinshi, European Central Bank Executive Board member Schnabel recently downplayed the possibility that eurozone interest rates will take a significantly different path from the United States. Schnabel said that despite stronger-than-expected U.S. inflation, the potential divergence between the ECB and the Federal Reserve's policies has not attracted much attention. He further pointed out that although there may be temporary slight divergences, overall he is not too sure whether this will actually happen and is not too worried about it.
