According to TechFlow, Tether announced the launch of a new "synthetic" dollar backed by tokenized gold. Users can mint these new tokens through the company's new platform Alloy. According to Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino, Alloy will be part of Tether's upcoming tokenization project. Earlier, Tether launched a new token minting platform called Alloy on the Ethereum network on Monday, which allows users to create tokens collateralized by Tether tokenized gold (XAUT).
