According to Odaily Planet Daily, on-chain detective ZachXBT detected that the online gambling platform Sportsbet was suspected to have been attacked by BTCTurk hackers, with losses exceeding $3.5 million. Previously, the Turkish cryptocurrency exchange BtcTurk was attacked on June 22, affecting some balances of hot wallets of 10 cryptocurrencies, but most of the assets were stored in safe cold wallets. BtcTurk said that its financial strength is sufficient to cover the loss and user assets will not be affected. At present, as a precautionary measure, BtcTurk has suspended deposits and withdrawals of all cryptocurrencies, and the team is conducting a detailed investigation.
