According to Odaily Planet Daily, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart called for a Freedom of Information Access (FOIA) request regarding the SEC's approval of a spot Ethereum ETF. In a June 5 interview with KITCO, Seyffart said that public requests should search "emails, phone calls, and anyone who has spoken to SEC Chairman Gary Gensler" to determine what happened during the SEC's decision-making process. He said that there may be unused rejection orders due to the rapid changes in the agency's position. He believes that the U.S. SEC should not be completely apolitical, but should be less political than it is now.
