According to Odaily Planet Daily, Hedera officially announced that it will deprecate the insecure Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) mirror node endpoint to enhance security and ensure service reliability. The API has transitioned from the old hcs.＜env＞.mirrornode.hedera.com:5600 endpoint to the new ＜env＞.mirrornode.hedera.com:443 endpoint. This change also affects older SDK versions because they use the old HCS mirror node endpoint. The deprecation schedule is as follows: initial notification in the week of June 10, mid-term reminder in the week of September 9, and actual deprecation time is the week of November 11 (6 months from the first notification).
