According to Foresight News, the Ethereum L2 blockchain LightLink's Hummingbird client has been launched on the Celestia mainnet, publishing L2 data to Celestia DA and verifying it, and only sending block headers to Ethereum. LightLink said that using Celestia as its data availability layer will reduce costs compared to Ethereum, allowing us to save costs for end users in the form of lower transaction fees.
