The U.S. Navy is seeking private sector partners for a cooperative research and development agreement (CRADA) to help advance its proprietary “PARANOID” blockchain technology, ChainCatcher reported.
PARANOID (Powerful Identity Authentication for Naval Operational Aircraft Program Integrated Development) is a blockchain-based system for protecting software from cyberattacks during development and deployment. PARANOID protects software throughout the development process by validating files across nodes at every step through the blockchain. Every action taken by a developer is registered as an entry on the PARANOD blockchain, providing a ledger of activity.
