According to ChainCatcher, Southeast Asia's multi-functional online service platform Grab announced that it will stop providing e-wallet services in Vietnam, which were launched in 2018 in a strategic partnership with local payment company Moca. From July 1, this change will affect the Moca application and Grab's application in Vietnam.

The partnership includes Moca acting as a payment intermediary for all Grab operations in Vietnam. Users will receive a refund for the remaining balance. In addition, Grab users can still use bank cards, ZaloPay accounts and MoMo accounts for cashless payments.
