Kennedy Jr. expressed his intention to focus on economic and health issues during his campaign, avoiding getting involved in controversies surrounding other political figures.
Kennedy Jr. also commented on former President Donald Trump's recent pro-cryptocurrency stance, expressing his approval and hope that President Biden would follow suit. He stated that a commitment to cryptocurrency signifies a commitment to freedom and transparency, which he believes is beneficial for the country.
When asked about the major challenges facing cryptocurrency regulation in the U.S., Kennedy Jr. emphasized the importance of transactional freedom and the need for a transparent currency. He also stressed the need for consumer protection against deceptive schemes in the regulation of cryptocurrency. Kennedy Jr. revealed that he had purchased 21 bitcoins since the start of his campaign, along with three coins for each of his children.
Regarding the future of cryptocurrency, Kennedy Jr. expressed his desire for it to be used as a transactional currency if he is elected president. He believes that people should have the freedom to choose whether to buy it and that it should not be taxed as capital gains. He envisions a future where cryptocurrency is used for everyday purchases.
Kennedy Jr. also shared what inspired him to run for president. He had considered entering politics when he was younger, but had put that idea aside for two decades. However, the events during the Covid-19 pandemic and the government's response to it prompted him to reconsider. He was particularly concerned about the perceived attack on the constitution and censorship, which he felt were unethical.
