According to ChainCatcher, a recent survey by Preply showed that as many as three-fifths (60%) of US cryptocurrency investors do not understand blockchain technology. Although 41% of people expressed interest in learning about cryptocurrency, the proportion of people willing to learn from Generation Z was the smallest. The report also pointed out that US residents who invest in NFTs are also likely to invest in cryptocurrencies. In addition, different generations have different interests in digital assets other than cryptocurrencies. For example, 12% of millennials surveyed said they had invested in NFTs, while only 4% of baby boomers said so. US residents who invest in NFTs also tend to invest in cryptocurrencies, which may be their first step in exploring other digital assets.
