As reported by U.Today, according to data shared by Etherscan, a day ago, a newly established cryptocurrency wallet purchased tens of billions of SHIB Meme coins. A huge amount of 237,868,630,126 SHIB was transferred to the aforementioned wallet, and the total value of this Meme cryptocurrency is $6,290,435 at the time of writing. The purchase took place after the SHIB team announced that it had received $12 million in investment for the development of a third-layer solution on top of Shibarium. Meanwhile, the head of SHIB clarified the reasons for his recent multiple trips around the world. Shytoshi Kusama, the head of the SHIB project, suddenly shared the reasons for his multiple changes of location on X/Twitter earlier this year in a recent tweet. He has been to Japan, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, and several cities in the United States, including New York, as well as Hong Kong, Dar Bai, and the Maldives. The SHIB community tracked all these location changes on Kusama's official X/Twitter account and wondered what was going on. Now, Shytoshi has announced that the goal he pursued during his travels is to raise funds for the establishment of a third-layer blockchain. Shibarium is a second layer solution built on top of Ethereum and the new blockchain will be based on Shibarium.
