According to CryptoPotato, crypto detective ZachXBT warned that a group of scammers are using millions of stolen funds to try to attract more victims through new scam schemes.

The investigation found that the same group that had previously stolen funds from projects such as Magnate, Kokomo, Lendora, and Solfire has now launched a new project on Blast, Leaper Finance.

The findings revealed by ZachXBT in the X-thread show that this group has a history of executing "blanket pull" scams, attacking users of Magnate ($6.5 million), Kokomo ($4 million), Solfire ($4.8 million), and Lendora. They have also expanded their operations on various blockchain networks, including platforms such as Base, Solana, Scroll, Optimism, Arbitrum, Ethereum, and Avalanche. ZachXBT also linked them to scams involving Hash DAO, Glori Finance, and ZebraDAO, with a total loss of more than $20 million.

In the latest scam, the gang increased liquidity by injecting nearly $1 million into the Leaper Finance address on the Blast network to lure in unsuspecting victims.
