According to U.Today, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson compared blockchain and AI models in a recent post on the X social media platform to illustrate why short-term narratives don't always work. Hoskinson recalled Sam Altman's OpenAI, an American artificial intelligence research company known for its viral "ChatGPT" model, which "dominated the world" a few months ago. However, now, it is facing increasing competition from other language models. For example, last month, Anthropic, an American artificial intelligence startup founded by former OpenAI employees, recently launched its Claude 3 series of models. According to the benchmarks released by Anthropic, it surpassed OpenAI's GPT-4 in undergraduate-level knowledge, graduate-level reasoning, elementary school mathematics, programming, and mixed assessments. Hoskinson claimed that Cardano now holds all the cards as an ecosystem. He said: "I will not doubt an ecosystem that has the ability to attract and unlock millions of people, has an on-chain sovereign wealth fund, and has never failed in more than 2,300 days of 24/7 operation." The founder of Cardano further stated that his blockchain has the best scalability and governance plan.
