According to Foresight News, the Scam Sniffer report shows that as of 2024, the MEVBot scam has caused 877 addresses to lose a total of $1.69 million. In the past few months, ScamSniffer has monitored more than 100 domain names related to the MEVBot scam being deployed, and IP 185.149.120.113 has deployed a large number of related websites. Scammers lure developers into deploying contracts containing malicious code with the promise of risk-free passive income. Once the developer invests funds and attempts execution, the malicious code transfers the funds to the scammer’s wallet.
