According to Foresight News, zkSync development company Matter Labs tweeted that it will cancel the payment of fund transaction fees from zkSync cross-chain to the Ethereum main network starting at 7:59 on April 1. Thereafter, users initiating transactions to withdraw funds from the zkSync cross-chain bridge to the Ethereum mainnet will require additional transactions to claim the funds on Ethereum. Officials say that as zkSync continues to be decentralized, the network cannot rely on intermediaries to operate key protocol mechanisms.
