According to Planet Daily, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Metis plans to integrate Chainlink’s interoperability solution Chainlink CCIP. The Metis team stated that it will upgrade the Metis bridge interface and use Chainlink CCIP as the official cross-chain infrastructure to provide support for the standardized Metis token bridge. The initial focus is on bridging some mainstream stablecoins from the Ethereum mainnet to the Metis network.
