According to the Daily Planet, Patrick O'Grady, director of engineering at Ava Labs, recently stated that the Avalanche interoperability era has begun, and the production code (AvalancheGo@v1.11.0) of the proposed Durango upgrade has been released and is expected to be activated on the mainnet at 0:00 Beijing time on March 7. Avalanche Korea officially released an announcement to confirm the activation time. The Durango upgrade will introduce Avalanche Warp Messaging to the C chain, enabling local cross-chain communication for each EVM chain in the Avalanche ecosystem, and establishing standards for future virtual machines (VMs) using AWM.
