Digital bank Revolut is testing a beta version of a cryptocurrency exchange aimed at “advanced traders,” CoinDesk reports. The exchange will offer lower fees and more robust market analysis than trading through the Revolut app. Revolut currently provides basic cryptocurrency services to its 30 million customers. According to a customer email seen by CoinDesk, the exchange will offer lower fees and more robust market analysis. The email invites customers to test the new platform, saying: "We are launching a new cryptocurrency exchange designed for advanced traders. Here you will find more in-depth analysis tools and lower fees than in the app." Fees It has been set between 0% and 0.09%, and functionality has been added to allow users to trade using limit and market orders. Limit orders are typically used when traders want to buy or sell an asset at a specific price. There are no fees for limit orders. A Revolut spokesperson told CoinDesk: “We are always developing new products and features to meet the needs of our customers or the requirements of the market. An independent cryptocurrency exchange is one of the future developments, but that will only happen once the product is available in the app More information to come. Currently, the product is invitation-only and we will roll it out and invite more customers to participate."
