Binance confirmed its support for the forthcoming network upgrade and hard fork of the Optimism (OP) network.
In preparation for the upgrade, Binance stated it will temporarily suspend the deposits and withdrawals of the Optimism (OP) token. Starting from 16:00 UTC on January 11, 2024, users will not be able to conduct token transfers on Binance's platform, a necessary measure to ensure a seamless transition during the network's modification.
This network augmentation and resulting hard fork are set to commence at 17:00 UTC on the same day, promising to deliver enhanced performance to the Optimism token.
