According to Cointelegraph, in another notice filed on September 27, the U.S. SEC said it would designate a longer period of time to decide whether to approve a proposed rule change that would allow VanEck and ARK 21Shares’ Ethereum spot ETFs to be listed on the Cboe BZX Exchange. The SEC said it had not received public comments on the two applications and would postpone the resolution deadlines to December 25 and 26, respectively. The SEC explained: “The Commission believes it is necessary to designate a longer period of time during which to act on the proposed rule changes so that there is sufficient time to consider the changes and the issues therein.”
