On February 1st, according to official information, the IoTeX network has recovered from the instability caused by the recent DoS attack. Version 2.1.2 of IoTeX L1 has completed its upgrade, introducing rate limiting functionality for individual accounts to protect nodes from DoS attacks.
Although this upgrade is not a hard fork, IoTeX officials still recommend that node operators and API gateways synchronize the network upgrade to improve the stability and security of the system.
