According to TechFlow, on January 10, according to an official announcement, Nubit, a native technology project in the Bitcoin ecosystem, announced the first unified Bitcoin asset protocol called "Goldinals".
It is reported that the Goldinals concept was proposed by Domo, the founder of the Ordinals protocol's first token ($ORDI) and BRC20, and implemented by the Nubit team. This protocol aims to introduce trustless asset management and programmability to the Bitcoin ecosystem, solving the lack of interoperability between existing Bitcoin asset protocols (such as BRC-20, Runes, Ordinals, etc.), which leads to liquidity fragmentation and security risks.
Goldinals provides a unified Bitcoin asset standard, achieves backward compatibility with existing protocols, and supports more efficient asset creation, management, and interaction functions. It is an important step for the Bitcoin ecosystem to move towards the field of asset programming (BitVM).
