The elected president of the USA Donald Trump released a limited collection of NFTs on the Bitcoin blockchain with the help of the Ordinals protocol. The series of new non-fungible tokens from the politician under the name Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards includes 119 ordinals. Unique digital assets can only be received by buyers of the NFT from the Mugshot Edition collection, created in 2023. To release the ordinal Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards, by January 31, holders of the NFT Mugshot Edition need to: Open the NFT marketplace Magic Eden; Link a crypto wallet to store Bitcoins; Choose the option to mint the coin and pay a commission of 0.00001 BTC ($0.94 at the current exchange rate). Owners of the Mugshot Edition have already created 33 ordinals from the series Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Cards and listed 14 coins for sale on the Magic Eden marketplace. The minimum cost of a digital asset is 0.177 BTC ($16,670). Judging by the presented NFTs, Trump is depicted in various images, for example, as a golfer, Captain America, and an old-school president of the USA.
The minting of ordinals on the Bitcoin network will not provide Donald with an opportunity to earn extra money; however, the collections of NFTs created in the past continue to bring him income. Over the last 90 days, the trading volume of Trump tokens reached $330,774, and the politician was correctly paid rewards after the sale of the coins. Currently, Donald owns digital assets worth $11.2 million. $BTC
