The Ministry of Human Resources Innovation (MOH) has instructed all government agencies to recheck the system's implementation restricting public officials from possessing virtual assets (cryptocurrency). MOH has requested that each agency self-diagnose the system restricting possession of virtual assets and submit the results by January 31st. This move comes after concerns were raised about the effectiveness of the system. Some public officials have been accused of using virtual assets to launder money or avoid taxes. The MOH is taking this matter seriously and is committed to ensuring that public officials are not using virtual assets for illicit purposes.
