According to Foresight News, Mysten Labs Chief Legal Officer Kevin Boon will serve as president, and one of his biggest responsibilities is to help lead Mysten Labs to launch the mainnet of Walrus Protocol, which is expected to be launched in 2025. Kevin Boon said that in addition to launching Walrus, a storage and retrieval platform currently running on the testnet, Mysten Labs is also looking for opportunities to advance decentralized technology through artificial intelligence.
Kevin Boon previously led regulatory, product, commercial and international legal teams at Block, the payments and blockchain infrastructure company founded by Jack Dorsey.
