PANews reported on January 9 that, just before the news of the U.S. government's approval to sell BTC was announced, a whale with a $234 million portfolio deposited 300 WBTC (28.5 million USD) into Binance, reportedly making a profit of 9.98 million USD.

This whale has been trading WBTC since March 2023, frequently buying low and selling high. Currently, this whale holds 195 WBTC (18.4 million USD) on Aave, with an estimated total profit from WBTC of 33.7 million USD (+33.2%).
