🚨🚨 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE 🇺🇸 PERMITTED TO SELL $6.5 BILLION IN BITCOIN SEIZED FROM SILK ROAD

A federal judge has ruled that the Department of Justice can sell 69,370 Bitcoin seized from the Silk Road black market.

The Department of Justice cited the price volatility of Bitcoin as the basis for seeking permission to sell this asset. When asked about the next steps, a DOJ spokesperson said: "The government will continue to act in accordance with the ruling in this case." - Sounds like the Department of Justice wants to sell before Trump takes office (January 20).

Battle Born Investments failed to delay the sale. This group had previously claimed ownership through a bankruptcy estate.

The U.S. government is currently HODLing a total of over 198,000 BTC (~$18.7 billion).
