What should we do if we get scammed?

1. Binance employees never ask for money or offer investment plans to users. Never send money to strangers you meet online.

2. Report the incident to local authorities. Binance works closely with the authorities, and our collaboration regularly results in discoveries and confiscations. While getting your funds back is not guaranteed, in most cases, this is the only option available.

3. Report the incident to the website, app, or social media moderators the scammer contacted. Provide them with details such as the scammer’s profile name and any other information that might help prevent others from being scammed.

4. Be wary of “recovery services.” While some may offer legitimate help, many make false promises or require upfront payments. Don’t get scammed twice.
