Odaily Planet Daily News: 27 current and former employees of the blockchain division of gaming giant WeMade have filed a lawsuit against the company for 'unpaid' cryptocurrency bonuses, seeking approximately $11 million in compensation. The group claims that the company had promised to pay them bonuses based on cryptocurrency performance as a reward for work surrounding the WEMIX token. Among these employees, some are still working at WeMade and are members of Wemade Tree, a subsidiary of WeMade (formerly the blockchain division of WeMade). The company developed WEMIX and first listed it on cryptocurrency exchanges in 2020. WeMade subsequently merged with WeMade Tree in February 2022.
