Michael Saylor explained in an interview with Fox Business that he wanted to be remembered as an ideological follower of the anonymous creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.
"If you have accumulated significant wealth in bitcoins and burned the keys after death, you will make a proportional contribution to the ecosystem corresponding to that capital, benefiting everyone who owns this asset in the world. I will take my bitcoins with me and leave them to no one," the businessman clarified.
Saylor stated that he has made significant efforts to develop the first cryptocurrency and will continue to use the strategy of accumulating the asset on the company's balance sheet. MicroStrategy remains the largest public holder of BTC.
Previously, Michael Saylor published a price forecast for which Bitcoin could be traded on the market in twenty years, in 2045.
