Cryptocurrency price charts reflected slight losses on Sunday, January 5, with Bitcoin seeing a 0.24% price decline on international exchanges in the last 24 hours. With this, the asset is currently trading at $97,862 on global exchanges, according to CoinMarketCap data.
Additionally, the total 24-hour trading volume fell by 28.61% to $87.69 billion, while Ether also suffered losses on price charts. On international exchanges, ETH recorded a price loss of 0.34% to $3,619, CoinMarketCap showed.
A cryptocurrency price chart compiled by Gadgets 360 showed that most cryptocurrencies were trading in gains alongside Bitcoin and Ether on Sunday, including Ripple, Tether, Solana, Dogecoin, Cardano, Tron, and Avalanche.
Chainlink, Stellar, Shiba Inu, Polkadot, Uniswap, and Leo also posted gains on the price charts, and the overall crypto market cap fell by 0.24 percent in the last 24 hours, bringing the sector’s value to $3.48 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap data.
