Wu said that blockchain security researcher jinu tweeted that a vulnerability was found in the Virtuals Protocol, involving the creation of AgentToken and VIRTUAL token pairs on Uniswap V2. This vulnerability exploited the nonce of AgentFactoryV3 to predict and create trading pairs for AgentToken and VIRTUAL on Uniswap V2 ahead of time, causing the Virtuals system to be unable to release new AgentToken, as Uniswap V2 rejects creating existing trading pairs; the fix is to have AgentToken check for existence before creating the trading pair. The Virtuals Protocol official stated that a patch has been released for this vulnerability, and a bug bounty program is being developed, with complete details to be announced soon.
