I recently participated in a BIO airdrop and wanted to share my experience. I invested the equivalent of 10 USDT in BNB (at a price of 1 BNB = 702 USDT) and locked it up for 10 days to qualify.
After the 10-day period, I received BIO tokens worth approximately 0.07 USDT. While I received the airdrop, the BNB market had declined during the lock-up period. When I converted my BNB back to USDT, the price had dropped to 1 BNB = 697 USDT. This resulted in a loss of 0.50 USDT on my initial 10 USDT investment.
Factoring in the 0.07 USDT worth of BIO tokens I received, my net loss after 10 days was 0.43 USDT.
This example illustrates the potential risks and minimal returns associated with participating in airdrops with smaller investments. It highlights that even "free" tokens can come at a cost due to market fluctuations.
