Exposure: Trump's Phone Records Stolen

According to a report by Fox News on January 2, a serving U.S. Army soldier was recently arrested. The soldier is suspected of participating in a hacking attack against Trump and Harris, and reselling their phone records.

The report states that the arrested soldier is named Cameron John Vaghien, serving in the U.S. Army's 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. In November 2024, a hacker using the alias "Kiberphant0m" claimed to have launched a hacking attack against Trump (who was then elected president) and Harris (the current vice president), and posted their phone records for sale online.

Vaghien is suspected of being involved in these leaks and was arrested on December 20, 2024. The Justice Department charges him with two counts of "illegal transmission of confidential phone record information."

Currently, local authorities have not clarified Vaghien's exact role. The 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment he serves in stated that it will fully cooperate with the Justice Department's investigation.
