Eligible users of Jupiter and Sonic, both in the Solana ecosystem, will receive airdrops in the coming weeks.
Users in the Solana ecosystem will benefit from at least two major airdrop events in January, in which hundreds of millions in tokens will be distributed to eligible users.
The first airdrop scheduled for New Year's Day will come from the Solana layer 2 gaming network, Sonic, which plans to release 7% of its native token supply SONIC to users on January 7.
According to a post on January 1 on X, Sonic stated that only 15% of the total supply of 2.4 billion SONIC tokens would be available for trading on the day of the airdrop launch.
