In December 2024, the trading volume of stablecoins increased by 20.3%, reaching a historical high of $1.41 trillion; the supply of stablecoin issuance grew by 1.7%, reaching $170 billion, with USDT and USDC holding market shares of 79.2% and 18.3%, respectively; in addition, Bitcoin miners' income reached $1.44 billion, an increase of 18.9%, ETH stakers' income was $342 million, an increase of 30.2%, and a total of 47,064 ETH was burned on the Ethereum chain in December, equivalent to $17.44 million. Since the implementation of EIP-1559, a total of 4.53 million ETH has been burned, approximately $12.8 billion.
