CF Benchmarks Believes That the Spot Bitcoin ETF Market Will See a Significant Redistribution of Capital in 2025
Investment professionals will become key players in the ETF market, overtaking hedge funds, which currently dominate the Bitcoin ETF market.
CF Benchmarks notes that in January 2023, the US stock market launched instruments that allow investing directly in Bitcoin, giving investors access to cryptocurrencies without having to store them themselves.
Investment advisors currently own about 28% of the capital placed in ETFs. However, in 2025, they will dominate the market, controlling more than 50% of crypto fund shares.
In addition to Bitcoin, advisors will begin to invest more actively in spot Ethereum ETFs. Already this year, the total amount of capital placed in crypto ETFs will exceed $40 billion.
CF Benchmarks also predicts an increase in investments in the tokenization of real assets in 2025. In addition to Ethereum, Solana will become the main blockchain for tokenization, which will lead to an increase in demand for the network's digital asset - SOL.
