Blockchain developer Kartik Patel launched Anon World, a decentralized anonymous social platform based on the Farcaster protocol that aims to protect user privacy and promote community-driven discussions. The platform borrows from Reddit's interface design, and the core architecture relies on ZK-based credentials, which are stored in the user's local browser and do not collect any metadata or wallet information. Users must hold specific ERC20 tokens to post. The platform initially supports ERC20 tokens on the Base network. Anon World includes features similar to subreddits, where groups of users with shared credentials can interact. Credentials can be stored in local wallets or key-based profiles. Previously, Patel launched AnonCast, a decentralized social media application built on the Farcaster protocol. (The Block)
