What has happened in the cryptocurrency space in the past 12 hours:
• $BTC - BlackRock's spot BTC ETF ($IBIT) has seen a rising trend in net outflows. Today, the daily net outflow for IBIT reached an all-time high of -300.8 million.
• Morgan Stanley - Morgan Stanley's subsidiary electronic trading platform E-Trade announced it is considering offering cryptocurrency trading.
• DXY - The Dollar Index (DXY) has surpassed 109 and has been setting new highs since November of last year.
• $USDT - Tether's $USDT market capitalization has experienced the largest weekly market cap drop since the FTX collapse in November 2022. Within a week of the full implementation of the EU's crypto asset regulation MiCA, USDT fell by 1.2% to just above $137 billion.
• $UNI - The Uniswap team tweeted that v4 is coming soon, originally set to launch in Q3 2024 but has been postponed.
• $ENA $AAVE - Ethena founder @leptokurtic_ and AAVE @StaniKulechov hinted at the launch of the Arcthena product. This product is expected to be a 2.0 version of $AAVE Arc and may be relaunched as an institutional lending platform, allowing funds to earn $ENA yields and circulate $USDe.
• MetaPlanet - Japanese listed company Metaplanet announced plans to increase its $BTC holdings to over 10,000 shares by 2025.
• $AVA - @HoloworldAI founder @tong0x announced that Agent Market will soon launch on Solana. Holoworld AI has been selected for Binance MVB Season 7.
• $FARTCOIN - FARTCOIN hit a new high of $1.40. $FARTCOIN is currently trading at an FDV of $1.3 billion.
• $LAYER - The Solayer team has launched the Solayer Foundation and announced the $LAYER token. It will be airdropped to eligible participants and plans to take the first snapshot on January 13.
