This article should have been completed yesterday. Due to being extremely busy lately, today I will summarize my 2024 and look forward to 2025.
On June 23, 2024, I left an American startup with immense excitement and completely bid farewell to the traditional industry, wholeheartedly embracing the crypto industry.
As for the reasons, everyone can understand that the traditional industry is too competitive, and the U.S. economy is also not doing well. Watching my favorite field—cryptocurrency—thriving every day, I was still spending 80% of my time and energy in the industry I have been deeply involved in for over a decade. However, the returns from the 20% of my time and energy focused on the crypto industry far exceeded that, so I made the decision to give up.
By chance, I can be considered to have squeezed into the financial industry. Looking back at the eve of the college entrance examination in 2005, the institution I admired the most was Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. However, my college entrance exam scores limited my dreams, and I could only choose a fairly decent university, opting for an industry where I could make a living relying on technology.
After graduating from college, I was fortunate to go to Shanghai, working while also getting to know the A-shares. I even had the title of 'Little Zhuge of A-shares' in the office at that time. But unfortunately, A-shares did not help me make money; instead, they consumed a lot of my capital. So, I resolutely liquidated all my stocks in 2010 and focused on my main career. Looking back at the points where I liquidated, many stocks never reached the highs of that time, which is quite regretful!
In the traditional mechanical industry, I have been doing it for over a decade. After coming to the U.S., I still did similar work and traveled to various corners of the major states of the U.S. over the years.
In any case, I am grateful for all the work I have done in the past, thankful for the mechanical industry I have been deeply involved in for over a decade. This industry has allowed me, a poor kid from a rural area, to step by step make it to the United States. I am grateful for all the friends who have supported me along the way and the bosses who have made it difficult for me. Without you, there would be no today’s me! You are the ones who have made today’s me!
But what I should be most grateful for is Bitcoin. Thank you, Satoshi Nakamoto, for showing me another way to live and making me fully realize that I do not have to be a donkey grinding at the mill; instead, I could potentially become a true player in this world.
Starting from May 2024, I operated in the on-chain primary market with my brothers, beginning with the election concept MEME and continuing to today’s SharkDao. This process was filled with thrills and surprises, and fortunately, all the early participants who kept pace have had some results.
It is precisely because I have deeply participated in many projects that I realized PVP is not the true route to wealth for my brothers. The real path to wealth should be to gradually delve into one project, which is why we created SharkDao together.
If you have seen the information about SharkDao that I introduced earlier, you should understand that this project is not just a small VC institution but also an RWA concept project, and a truly open and transparent immigration agency that can help you successfully immigrate to the U.S.
In the past two days, I helped SharkDao interview more than a dozen candidates. A common question everyone has is, why do you firmly believe that SharkDao can help friends in the Web3 field successfully immigrate? Why don’t they go to immigration agencies? My answer is that traditional immigration agencies are filled with traps, the use of funds is not open and transparent, and the intermediary fees are exorbitant. What could be done with $1 million, they dare to charge you $2 million. The most despicable thing is that many immigration agencies abscond with the money.
The opacity in traditional industries and the high intermediary fees are pitfalls in this industry. Since there are pitfalls, it gives us opportunities, and with opportunities, we will act, putting in several times the energy of traditional industries to do it well.
I dare say that we are the first project in the Web3 field to dare to facilitate immigration to the U.S. There will definitely be imitators in the future, provided that our industry is recognized by most people and has a positive profit effect.
So, the upcoming year of 2025 will be a year for SharkDao to shine. Thank you for all the opportunities given by heaven. When we designed this project, we did not know that Trump would come to power, so the overall plan was conservative, especially regarding compliance and licensing in the U.S. We can only start from state-level licenses, such as Wyoming and Utah.
However, Trump's presidency will change many rules. At least in terms of regulation, we will see more hands-off governance.
This is the opportunity!
In 2025, we will acquire more American assets, strive for more state licenses, and bring more of you to wealth!
