Foresight News reports that Dennis Porter, founder of the Satoshi Action Fund, tweeted that Swiss legislator Samuel Kullmann is pushing to include Bitcoin in the Swiss Constitution. The proposal needs to collect 100,000 signatures within 18 months for the states to vote on Bitcoin as part of the Swiss Constitution. 'This will require a lot of work, I know this is a long-term goal, but we need to challenge the endpoint while we have the momentum now.'

Foresight News previously reported that, according to Bitcoin Magazine, the Swiss federal government has officially begun reviewing a nationwide referendum proposal named 'Building a Financially Robust, Sovereign, and Responsible Switzerland (Bitcoin Initiative)'. The proposal has been published in the federal gazette and has entered the signature collection phase, aiming to incorporate Bitcoin into the Swiss national financial system through a constitutional amendment.
