At Trump’s New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago, Musk sat right next to Trump, quite close, and even their outfits were almost identical. From the scene, it appears that Trump has placed Musk on equal footing with himself. The New Year’s Eve party at Mar-a-Lago seems to indicate a trend; Musk might make Trump’s second term very different, and Musk’s voice, or rather, Musk’s thoughts could have more influence on Trump than previously imagined. This could represent a new opportunity for China and the United States.
