👏 Binance Labs - A Year in Review and Direction for 2025

Binance Labs just shared a long thread reflecting on the journey of 2024 and the development direction for the upcoming period of the fund:

Achievements of 2024

🔸46 investment projects, evenly distributed between infrastructure and applications.

🔸Among them, 14 projects nurtured from the MVB + Incubation program and 32 projects from direct investment.

🔸DeFi (10 projects), AI (7), BTC Ecosystem (7), Gaming (3), ZK (2), RWAs (2), Restaking (4), along with emerging fields such as the Move ecosystem and DeSci.

🔸Investments in various ecosystems such as Ethereum, Solana, Telegram, major Layer-2s, and new ecosystems like Berachain, Monad, Celestia.

Direction for 2025

🔸 Binance Labs will rebrand and focus on blockchain/crypto, AI & Biotech.

🔸Growth opportunities: The fields of Gaming, ZK, and security are expected to break through; trends in DeSci, Stablecoins, and AI agents will continue to expand.

🔸Investment strategy: The fund will not only focus on primary direct investments in projects but will also expand into the secondary market, including OTC transactions and providing liquidity.

Binance Labs also does not forget to mention CZ's comeback. In the near future, in his personal capacity, CZ will directly connect with founders and engage deeply in projects.
