Once the richest Chinese person and founder of Binance, Zhao Changpeng (CZ) predicted in 2020 that the price of Bitcoin could drop from $101,000 to $85,000. Now, with Bitcoin recently reaching a peak of $108,000, this four-year-old prediction has been brought back to light by the cryptocurrency community. Notable cryptocurrency commentator WhaleFUD recently pointed out that Zhao Changpeng's tweet from December 17, 2020, seemed to foreshadow this week's Bitcoin decline. The tweet also mentioned Zhao Changpeng and expressed hope that he could delete this information.

Zhao Changpeng's tweet at the time read: "Waiting for the new headline: Bitcoin plummets from $101,000 to $85,000." Zhao Changpeng did not provide an explanation for why he made such a prediction in the 2020 tweet, nor did he delete the original tweet.
