Regarding the question of whether ai16z infringes on the a16z trademark, User @0xjunkdogg stated that there is no need to worry about this situation and provided the following explanation:
1. Communication has already been established with a16z via email;
2. The CTO of a16z is currently on the ai16z Discord but has not yet publicly spoken;
3. a16z co-founder Marc Andreessen has previously shared related content;
4. ai16z and a16z are jointly advancing the DUNA project, which aims to promote the legalization of DAOs in the United States. Previously, a16z has established a legal framework for DAOs in certain states, and both parties are working to expand its legal coverage.
Earlier today, Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb Qureshi posted on X stating: "So I want to ask an obvious question: since ai16z is now a token with a market value of over $1 billion, does it not infringe on a16z's trademark? ai16z initially felt like a parody, but now it seems to have become a more legitimate project with a more positive roadmap." He is seeking assistance from intellectual property lawyers to clarify his doubts. He added: "Without commercial intent, it's hard to become a token with a market value of $1 billion."
