Last week we compiled a list of over 30 potential airdrop projects (2025 Airdrop Treasure List | These 30+ projects are worth paying attention to). However, for those who are feeling fatigued by frequent initial airdrops, we have specially filtered and summarized 15 token airdrop opportunities.
Jupiter
In December 2024, the Jupiter community will launch a new round of airdrop proposals, distributing 700 million JUP tokens each year over the next two years, totaling 1.4 billion tokens. This proposal adjusts the original plan in multiple ways, including allocating unclaimed JUP tokens to the ASR (holding incentives) reward pool, prioritizing staking users, and strengthening anti-bot measures. According to the distribution draft formulated by Jupiter for Jupuary, 500 million tokens will be distributed to Swap users and stakers in 2025, and 200 million tokens will be distributed to participants of Carrots and Good Cats.
Interaction Strategy: Stake, redeem, and trade perpetual contracts.
Optimism
Optimism allocates 19% of its tokens for airdrops in its tokenomics, with 5% for the genesis airdrop. Optimism has distributed five seasons of airdrops after listing, including the genesis airdrop, and additional airdrops in February and September 2023, and February and October 2024, totaling 6.2% of the total token supply in airdrops, with another 12.8% of the total supply reserved for a series of future airdrops.
Interaction Strategy: Stake OP, participate in governance, interact across multiple Superchains, etc.
Ethena
Ethena allocated 30% of its total token supply to develop the Ethena ecosystem, with 5% of tokens distributed in the first and second season airdrop activities. The third season activity, which began on September 2, will last for 6 months until March 23, 2025.
Users who participated in Season 2 or Season 1 and continue to engage in the Ethena ecosystem will receive higher loyalty points in the third season rewards.
Interaction Strategy: Holding USDe in any applications listed on the Ethena Liquidity Dashboard (such as Morpho, Aave, Pendle, or Curve LP) will earn 20x rewards; holding sUSDe in applications like Morpho, Aave, or Curve LP will earn 5x rewards; other rules can be found here.
Blast
Blast allocates 50% of the total token supply (10 billion tokens) to the community in its tokenomics, with the first phase distributing 17% of the total token supply. The second phase is still ongoing and will end in June 2025 (lasting for 12 months).
The 50% of the second phase rewards (a total of 10 billion tokens) will be distributed to Blast Points holders, and 50% will go to Blast Gold holders. Wallets will automatically earn points based on users' ETH/WETH/USDB balances at each block, with BLAST earning points at twice the speed of ETH/WETH/USDB. DApps earn points at the same rate as wallets based on their TVL. The Blast documentation indicates that DApps should return all the points they earn to users. Interacting with selected DApps in the Blast ecosystem can earn points accumulation multipliers. Blast Gold is designed for DApps to incentivize their growth. DApps should return 100% of all Gold they earn to users.
Interaction Strategy: Cross-chain, hold BLAST, ETH, WETH, USDB on-chain, interact with ecosystem applications.
Starknet
Starknet allocated 9% (900 million tokens) of the total supply to community provisions during its token launch in February. In the first round of distribution, 700 million tokens were allocated, but only about 500 million tokens were claimed, meaning there are still about 400 million tokens to be used for future airdrops.
Interaction Strategy: Hold a certain amount of STARK, vote governance or delegate, explore Starknet ecosystem applications (such as Nostra, AVNU, etc.).
Grass
The AI and DePIN data layer Grass allocated 30% of its tokens to the community, with 10% of tokens already distributed in an airdrop event, 17% reserved for future incentives, and 3% for Router incentives. The Grass reward activity is currently in Epoch 3, which will end on January 16, 2025.
Interaction Strategy: Use plugins to connect networks, recommend invitations.
Arkham Exchange
Arkham Exchange is a trading platform launched by blockchain data company Arkham, which has launched the second season of the points activity.
Interaction Strategy: Participate in Arkham point activities through invitations and spot/contract trading via Arkham Exchange.
Saga
The modular blockchain Saga encourages users to stake to ensure network security through the Saga Vault activities while providing rewards. Saga will launch Saga Vaults 2.0 in 2025, introducing new LP rewards (the officials state that staking on Saga Uniswap and providing liquidity can maximize returns).
Interaction Strategy: Participate in Saga Vaults 2.0.
Sei
Sei explicitly mentioned during the announcement of its second community airdrop in May 2024 that a third airdrop would follow. In the second community airdrop in May 2024, Sei distributed 34,435,600 SEI to 44,445 addresses.
Interaction Strategy: Explore the Sei ecosystem, stake, and restake.
ZKsync
The ZKsync community has voted to approve the proposal to distribute 325 million ZK tokens within 9 months. This proposal aims to establish a DeFi liquidity hub on the ZKsync Era and enhance the liquidity of all interoperable ZK chains (Elastic Chains).
The related ZKsync Ignite program will launch on January 6, with the first batch of participating projects including SyncSwap, Koi Finance, zkSwap Finance, Uniswap, Maverick, PancakeSwap, Woofie, Izumi, RFX, Holdstation, Vest Exchange, Venus, ZeroLend, Aave, and Reactor Fusion.
EigenLayer
EigenLayer allocated 15% of the initial token total supply for stakedrops, with nearly 12% of the initial token total supply distributed in the first two seasons, and approximately 3% along with the tokens unclaimed in the first two seasons will be allocated to the community through subsequent plans.
Interaction Strategy: Stake and restake, operate nodes.
Magic Eden
The NFT trading market Magic Eden allocated 12.5% of ME (125 million tokens) for the first airdrop during TGE, with unclaimed portions to be distributed as part of community allocation as future rewards for ME stakers (currently, over 30 million ME remain unclaimed). Additionally, Magic Eden plans to allocate 22.5% of the total supply of tokens through the Magic Eden reward program.
Interaction Strategy: Stake ME, use the Magic Eden mobile app to trade tokens and NFTs.
Puffer Finance
Puffer Finance previously allocated 7.5% of the total supply to the Crunchy Carrot Quest Season 1 airdrop and 5.5% to Season 2. The Season 2 activities are currently ongoing.
Interaction Strategy: Stake ETH, stETH, or wstETH.
Hyperliquid
Hyperliquid's annual largest airdrop will allocate 31% of the total supply for genesis distribution, and 38.888% for future releases and community rewards. Some community users predict that Hyperliquid may issue a second airdrop. The performance of the HYPE token has also been impressive, rising all the way, with a fully diluted market cap reaching $28 billion and a circulating market cap of $9.3 billion.
Interaction Strategy: Trade on the Hyperliquid platform, deposit funds into Hyperliquid Vault, hold HYPE (possibly to measure loyalty), interact with Hyperliquid ecosystem projects.
Aptos
Aptos retained 51.02% of its tokens for the community in its tokenomics, with the first phase airdrop distributing 3% of tokens. Some community users speculate that Aptos will conduct a second airdrop.
Interaction Strategy: Explore the Aptos ecosystem, hold some NFTs appropriately, and stake APT with any validator.
