Exposing a New Scam
In the field of digital currency, there are particularly many scammers, and their methods are varied. Today, I want to share with you how I got scammed into buying Pixiu coins (FTE) to give you a warning.
At first, a scammer told me that I could exchange gray oil for white oil at a pretty high ratio, 1000 for 1300. He also said he could send me money first to appear very sincere.
Out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try. In the first transaction, he really sent me 260 yuan of white oil, while I only gave him 200 yuan of gray oil. The transaction went smoothly, and I became careless, thinking I had met a good person.
As a result, the subsequent transactions completely ruined me. He asked me to buy U on the Ouyi exchange and then convert it to FTE. I followed his instructions and prepared to give him 5000 U by converting it all to FTE. He suddenly said my FTE was locked and that I had to give him another 1500 U to unlock it, otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to take it out.
Only then did I feel something was wrong; I must have been scammed. I refused to pay the unlocking fee, and he directly blacklisted me. Now, the FTE I have cannot be exchanged for money on the Ouyi exchange, and it has become a burden.
After being scammed this time, I have learned my lesson. The digital currency field has high risks and many scammers.
